Send out multiple stand-alone emails to your customer list and/or opt -in list where people have specifically and deliberately given you permission to email them.

The fastest, quickest, easiest way to make sales is to send out a stand-alone email endorsing the product to your existing customers. And, if you have an opt-in list where people specifically and deliberately request to be on your mailing list, you can send an email to them also.

No spam. People must have given you permission to email them.

WHAT MOST PEOPLE DO WRONG IS SEND ONLY EMAILS FOR A PROGRAM. If you have a program that is really hot, really making you good money, continue to send promotions on it to your list as long as they make you money.

Once is not enough.

If you track your click throughs when you send out an email, you'll know your numbers. That is, how many people click from the email to your promotion. There is such an email glut nowadays that your email gets buried. That is why you send out multiple promotions.

Here is an example of an endorsed letter:

Dear Customer,

If you'd like to know how to (insert benefit of product), I have a tip for you.

The other day I stumbled across a product that showed me how to (insert benefit). It's called (insert product name)

I did X (add action) with it and I can tell you this -- it really does work!

There are a bunch of products on (insert topic). But this one was different for me. Here are some of the things I like about it:

1. (insert benefit one)

2. (insert benefit two)

3. (insert benefit three)

4. (insert benefit four)

Analysis

The reason the letter of endorsement works is credibility. People on your list believe you, not someone they don't know. So they want to hear what YOU thought of the product. How you liked it. How it worked for you.

Whatever the product is. It doesn't matter if you're selling toothpaste or hair tonic. It's all the same. People want to hear your personal experience.

It's much better to send an email that gives your opinion than a slick piece of advertising. Oftentimes, something that comes across as slick is far less effective than an email that comes across as real and human.

The most important thing about the email is talk using the word YOU. Don't talk just about yourself or how great the product is. Talk about your experience with the product and how and why it will benefit the reader.

For example, instead of beginning an email with:

"We've just discovered a new widget," say, "If YOU'RE looking for an easy way to do XYZ, then here's something new I just ran across." I capitalized the word "you're" for emphasis. You wouldn't capitalize it in an email.

The point is, use the word "you" a lot. Talk in terms of what the reader wants and only about your product in the context of those wants.

Here are a few tips on formatting emails:

* Use CAPITAL LETTERS SPARINGLY. IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF CAPS LIKE THIS IT IS HARD TO READ. A FEW CAPS GO A LONG WAY.

* Use hype sparingly. For example, use exclamation points only to make an exceptional point! Don't use them all the time! If you use them all the time, they lose effectiveness!!!! Oh, and only use one exclamation point, not multiple ones like this!!!!!!

That looks amateurish. And in a recent survey we did, next to spam as being the #1 "dislike" on the net, hype ranked a very close second. People are tired of hype, so use it sparingly.

* Break each line at 55 characters or less. I break my lines at 55 characters. If you don't do that, some mail readers will cause line breaks in the middle of sentences that makes the email impossible to read.

Subject: Today is the only day for living...

Hi FIRST NAME

You know, today's world is so fast paced. It's so
easy to get caught up in chasing the rainbow...
living for that "someday" when things will finally be
right.

When...

• We'll finally have enough money to enjoy life.
• We'll finally be out of debt and out from under
  the pressure cooker of life.
• We'll finally have a career we love or a business
that brings in loads of profits.
• We'll finally have the time to spend with our
family and share those relaxing moments together.
• We'll finally reach the level of success and
  status we crave.
• We'll finally have things under control enough
to be able to kick back and enjoy a little down time.

So when does that day come?

It seems like most people are living life in limbo,
going through the motions, just waiting for that
"someday" to finally arrive when you can step off the
merry-go-round... exhale... and actually start to
enjoy life.

Well, my friend, I've got news for you...

TODAY is the only "someday" you're ever going to have.

Right now, this moment... TODAY is your only point of
power. It's all there is. Yesterday is over...
tomorrow doesn't exist.

So why do we continue to live like we're in a big
dress rehearsal... or practice game?

Why do we settle for half-lives... where we act like
all we're doing is trying to "get through it"?

This is it. This is YOUR LIFE.

Now let me ask you a question...

If THIS is as GOOD as it gets... is it GOOD enough?

Look around at your life right now. Is this what you
want? Are you happy? Are you sucking the juice out of
life... or do you crave something more... something
much more?

And I'm not talking about "things" or "stuff"...

I'm talking about deep, fulfilling relationships and
spending quality time with the people you love the
most in this world.

I'm talking about following your bliss and
discovering the incredible joy of actually doing the
things in life that make you feel good.

I'm talking about unleashing your greatness and
making the world a better place by the contribution
only you can make.

I'm talking about discovering who you really are and
living up to the unlimited potential that's the core
of your being.

Time flies... whether we're having fun or not.

Kids grow up, parents and grandparents grow old, and
passion dies away while we're waiting for "someday"
to arrive so we can start living.

Don't wait. It's time to STOP settling for what you
don't want and start living this very moment as if it
were your last... because you never know when it will
be.

Like Buddha says, "Be Here Now!"

That means, be present in your life and experience it
AS IT HAPPENS. Don't live in the past... wishing
things could have somehow been different and don't
live in the future... worrying things will never
change.

Take the first step right now.

Grab your kids, your parents, your grandparents, your
dog...or anyone you love... and spend some quality
time together.
